Welcome
to the Sarcoxie Public Library online. We are happy you have decided to
join us. As you can tell, we are now offering many new things for your
research, reading and study pleasure. We are hoping to add new and
exciting features in the future as well.
We
believe the local public library is a very important asset to every
community. Therefore, it is our desire to make our library the best we
can, in order to assist you in all your library needs. If you have
suggestions that you feel would help our library further meet the needs
of the reading community please feel free to contact us. We do however,
ask that you use tact and are respectful in sharing any comments or
suggestions.
Thank
you for visiting our Library online. Be sure to stop in the Old Red
Front Library some time and say hello. As always, we are more than
happy to have new members in the friends of the library. If you are
interested in volunteering to help your local library, please contact
us and we will get you started. Thank you and enjoy your
local
library.
Happy Reading,
Library Staff

Precious Words
He
ate and drank the precious words.
His spirit grew robust;
He knew no more that he was poor,
Nor that his frame was dust.
He danced along the dingy days,
And this bequest of wings
Was but a book.
What liberty
A loosened spirit brings!

Emily Dickinson
